Testimonials

I am a stay-at-home mom that was looking for the right karate class for my son. I have a younger child too, and really preferred a daytime class. I researched everywhere in the area and found DeForest had just what I needed. I liked the web site but had to visit the school and the instructors in person so I could be sure this was the best choice for us. I was immediately impressed by Mrs. Plumer. She began instruction right from the first introduction. I decided to try the trial one month membership. From that time I told my son that he would be starting karate there he couldn't get to class soon enough. After a week's worth of classes I rewarded him with a Karate America sweatshirt. He insisted on sleeping in it. When he earned his white belt he had to stop at Grandma's and Grandpa's on the way to show them. The student-teacher ratio is great at the weekend class as they have so many assistants but the smaller class size offered in the daytime is just what my son needed to get off to a great start. I cannot stop telling everyone about Karate America DeForest and its terrific program and staff. Thank you so much for being there at the right time for us. It is so nice not to have to interrupt nap time and meal time to attend a class. Martha
